Both Sivu and Rae Morris are fresh off releasing debut albums through major labels, and though there are typically musical lulls experienced after artists do just that, these two UK artists in particular have decided to bless us with a fantastic collaboration regardless. On "The Nile", the alluded-to piece, Sivu and Rae elect for a slow-paced, piano-fueled feel, and though their use of obscure strings, a choir, and myriad electronic nuances make the song quite an eclectic one, all of the components still mesh together brilliantly. Additionally, both artists absolutely shine vocally, and hearing them harmonize together is quite a special privilege. It pretty much goes without saying that if you enjoy their joint effort here, you might be interested in hearing both Sivu's album, Something On High, and Rae's, Unguarded, but, unfortunately each project is only currently available in the UK. We'll be sure to let you know when that changes, however, as you can expect either work to make an appearance in some capacity on the site.
