We've a wholly Los Angeles affair to present here, as singer-producer SiR announces his forthcoming album, Seven Sundays, with a scorcher of a debut track called "Love You" that's been helped on the production end by Knxwledge. The fourteen-track project features productions from several high-octane producers including SiR himself, and this opener of a track makes for a great prelude into that body of work. Heading the vocal front on the piece, SiR has more than an effortless flow, and it's certainly an apt one alongside Glen Boothe's (Knxwledge) work, as both combine their sonic expertise in alluring fashion. The instrumental is comprised of slow-moving, subtly jaunty keys courtesy of Tré Pugh, and beside Boothe's textural drums and perforating synths, the platform set is quite brilliant. The soul-lit vocals of SiR are left to glide through the beat gorgeously, providing authenticity to the piece and making it an enjoyable listen throughout.
