Sinead Harnett hid patiently behind a translucent artistic veil for some time, only peeking her head out to be featured on songs by some massive names such as Disclosure, Rudimental, and Ryan Hemsworth, but about three months ago, the mystery that was Sinead Harnett began to unravel when her debut single, "No Other Way", hit the internet, causing a huge buzz about the songstress and acting as one of the strongest debuts we've heard all year. The song contained production from two HD-favorites, Snakehips and Utters, and Sinead Harnett so graciously returned the favor to the former by featuring on their track, "Days With You". Just yesterday, Sinead dropped off another of her brilliant singles, "Paradise", to build some hype for her debut EP, N.O.W (No Other Way), which is finally seeing its release in the UK today via Virgin EMI Records. Although the project contains only one new original, any fresh sounds from the London-based artist are sure to hold us over here at HD, especially when they're as phenomenal as "High Wire". Sinead's soft, slightly soulful vocals are again flush through the song, and rightfully so, because one listen to her croon will have you hopelessly captivated. It seems that, with each of Sinead's releases, she consistently has some incredible electronic production behind her, and on "High Wire" we see the same with its swelling synths, powerful percussion, and surplus of nuances that fill in the track. Now, we knew Sinead would be making some serious moves in 2014 (and, inevitably, beyond), but we never expected to hear as strong of a debut as she's supplied here with N.O.W. Even though she's only released a few original tracks, too, Sinead's already established herself as one of the most exciting up-and-coming female vocalists in today's musical landscape, and we've a quite a sure feeling that we'll be seeing a lot more of her in the future on the back of this marvelous release.
