Sibre — In The End

Sibre

In The End

The latest act in the undiscovered realm of indie-alternative realm is brand-new Melbourne two-piece Sibre, and though they haven't established any musical ethos with past information, their debut single, "In The End", really does all the talking. Many artists try to take the safe route when debuting by being more conservative with their sound, but thankfully, Norman Sanchez and Jarryd Millard have decided to release a highly creative, incredibly genuine song to begin their discography. Obscure percussion and shady soundscapes create dark moments within the effort, but relief always comes in the chorus—one filled with warm synth chords and heartfelt vocals. "In The End" is a track that fans of alt-J are likely to enjoy, and within the work, Sibre has proven that they could very well have some very interesting tunes up their sleeve. Be sure to add the two onto your new-music radar.
