SIAM's one of those mature voices you instantly respect, so don't be shocked when you find yourself attracted to it after her very first note sung. It'll have you swimming necessarily in its suavity, no doubt, and what makes the fact all the more impressive is that it's expressed (and in full force) on the Belgian singer's very first effort, "Same Thing". The track, an incredible introduction to the sound of the Ghent artist, has things looking bright for her career ahead, and with super-soulful vocal inflections of hers cast throughout Faisal's minimalistic and well-complimenting jazz production, we're treated seriously to fine sonic cousine we can't get enough of. Let's hope we hear more from SIAM going forward.
