While rap may be king in 2017, the new generation of pop is a close runner-up, genre-wise, as artists like Sigrid, Billie Eilish, and, most recently, Bülow are all pioneering a crazy-bright future in the field. Recently, we've come across another future star in the field with SHY Martin, and, while the Swedish artist already has credits on major hits by The Chainsmokers and Kygo, now, she's really showing us what she's capable of with her debut single, "Good Together". The song is about as perfect a piece of new pop as you could ask for, and, tropically tinged, we hear swelling synth chords, crisp percussion and SHY's vocal combine wonderfully on the track. Her emotive, honest songwriting, too, makes the song special, so, take a listen here, and hope we don't have to wait long for new SHY music to appear.
