On Tuesday January 22nd, the Malibu, CA rapper, Shwayze, will make his first ever appearance in Vancouver, BC on the upcoming Shwayzed & Confused Tour. The show will feature the support of Terraplane Sun (indie.pop.rock) & Paul Couture (hip-hop.pop). Shwayze initially found his first taste of success from his appearance on the MTV mini-series 'Buzzin' that aired back in the Summer of 2008. It was after this series that the duo of Shwayze and Cisco Adler would go on to release their debut self-titled album in August of 2008. The duo hit the first peak of their success with their huge single "Buzzin" which reached #46 on the Billboard top 100. The video for "Buzzin" has since gone on to rack up 9 million views. Shwayze has subsequently released 2 full albums since his debut with Cisco Adler (Let It Beat & Island In The Sun), 2 mixtapes (Love Stoned & We Evolve Every Day) and multiple features on other artist's projects. However in 2012, Shwayze and Cisco Adler have parted ways for now in what they are calling a "break". Shwayze has now changed his focus to his solo career and will look to build on the success he has created for himself over the last few years. With the recent release of his new EP, Shwayzed & Confused, the Malibu rapper will look to prove he can handle being on his own. The EP is lead by the buzz-worthy single "Love Is Overrated" that is currently making its rounds on radio in the States. Look for Shwayze to be playing his entire catalog with the full backing band!
