It's not too often that we harken back to songs as old as it, either, since we're consistently being slammed with so much incredible new music, but Shura's single really stuck with us through the months, with perhaps a little aid from CANVAS in the form of their remarkable remix. We greedy music bloggers can never settle for just one single, either; we always want more, and we've been anxiously awaiting the follow-up to Shura's exciting debut. At long last, however, the UK songstress has given us a new glimpse into her brilliance with a new single, "Just Once". If you enjoyed "Touch", there's no doubt that you'll absolutely adore "Just Once", which is similarly structured instrumentally with its deep, enticing synths and throwback pop sounds. Once again, Shura peeks into the R&B realm with her captivating croon, yet she stays in her own sonic lane by throwing in some bongo drums, beachy guitar strums, and plenty of electronic nuances. Shura is lyrically on point, coldly calling out the breathtaking line, "If you get my name wrong, I won't get pissed off because I wish I was somebody else". "Just Once" is only Shura's second release, but already, we can tell that she has plenty of fantastic songs up her sleeve.
