After claiming the number six spot on our "Artists to Watch in 2015" list and being included in the BBC Sound of 2015 lineup, Shura is set to have an absolutely massive year. The London-based singer-songwriter and producer created much more than a ripple in the music scene with her debut single, "Touch", and following efforts "Just Once" and "Indecision" were equally terrific. Now, after remaining relatively quiet in terms of new music for half of a year, she's back with "2Shy", another excellent single that's just been premiered on BBC Radio 1. In the new song, Shura decides to stay consistent with the sound that she's already established, one featuring smooth, '80s-sounding synths and fresh percussion beneath her irresistible voice. She makes the piece another charmingly slow-paced one, and has us already ready for more from her. Presently, Shura's playing a few shows in the US and then gearing up for a tour of Europe, so if you're interested in any of that, you can check out relevant dates and purchase tickets HERE.
