Shlohmo & Jeremih have made a lot of noise lately with their bassy R&B anthem, "No More"; they've managed to combine two unique sounds into one, and perhaps no greater testament to this fact was the aforementioned effort of theirs. It's no surprise to hear of others earnest to remix the track, then, because of its robust basis of sound as well as its potential for crossover appeal with audiences, and Montreal producer VXNYL is the first to attack the track with effective menance. Stripping away the gist of the vocals on the original, VXNYL implements an aggressive bassline that takes attention away from all other elements of the track, but that's OK. This is an instrumental remix, not an R&B one, and we're definitely digging the dark direction VXNYL takes here.
