Paris-based Basic Tape flips Sheare's latest track, "Say", into a stripped-back, dance floor-ready, house track, and what a wonderful job the duo has done. Their remix is definitely worth taking the time to listen to, from the pristine guitars, to the poppy vocal, to the safe but well-crafted house beat. The song really has it all. The French duo has gained a name for themselves courtesy of remixing pop tracks such as Nelly Furtado's "Promiscuous", and "Say" is no exception. Gracefully blending accessible music into summery house productions is Basic Tape's specialty, and this new effort of theirs may be their best yet.
