"Gems of Pure Light" is the the second-ever track released from the Parisian duo, Shawondasee, but it's more than enough for you to become a fan. Anyone looking for their indie-pop to have a little bit of an alternative-inclined, electronic zest to it, too, will be pleased to throw this one on, because the guys' disco-funk-infused guitar melodies and sweeping synths showcase their mastery of genre-bending and infectious sound. It's really fantastic to consider how promising a sound these guys have managed with only two effort under the belt, but we've reason to expect the exceptional work to continue going forward, and you should as well.
