British producer SG Lewis sparked our interest a couple months ago with "No Less", an electronic-heavy R&B track with the vocal brilliance of Louis Mattrs, and now today, we're focusing on a slightly divergent revamp of the piece courtesy of newcomer Phairo. We've already featured a velvety touch-up of the track through Kartell, and now Phairo continues down the upbeat route with his remix here. The unhurried pace of the original is what's completely overhauled by the UK-based talent, as increased velocities and funk-infused synths thrust the vocals to give the track a more dance-worthy tone. Heavy basslines and clicky percussive elements add to the vocals' emphasis and production intricacy, too, making it quite the ideal start for the solo artist's work. SG Lewis' debut EP, Shivers, will be released on August 21, and can be pre-ordered on iTunes now.
