With the incredible influx of future-sounding beats over the past year or so, we've been wondering when the time would come for a label to step up and organize all the offerings. Well, just last week, that wait was replaced with Future Beats Records, the brainchild of esteemed tastemaker and space-song pioneer, DJ Complexion. It's only a pair of releases up to this point, the label does, but with SevnthWonder's "Customer" having come out earlier today as its first-ever stand-alone single (and completely impressing in the process), there's no doubt that many more intimate and electronic-infused anthems will be gracing its platform. The track itself is actually a flip of Raheem DeVaughn similarly titled track, though, with Sevnth's starry infusions, it really takes on a sound of its own. We're accustomed to the pristine and incredilby crisp sound in the young producer's possession, and he's it here on full blast. The R&B vibe of the original is kept, but buffered with sensual synths and Jersey Club spice to give updated authenticity to the classic track. It's really an impressive approach taken by the "Yung Tigah", one with the right amount of resources utilized (rather than his overdoing the sound), and his version of "Customer" really benefits replay-wise as a result. There's no question the track will be able to satisfy that electronic-infused R&B craving we've all recently developed, and if Sevth keeps pumping out the particular sound, there's hope that the satisfaction will last.
