Semi-Attractive Boy released a few tracks a while back, but he's now come out with his debut track, and it's his most fully fleshed-out to date. "Hear Heart Isn't Beating For Me" is what the piece's called, and, having a methodical, genuine alternative-rock sound, it provides a refreshing escape from the more electronic-led tracks that dominate the musical landscape today. Aside from the music, it's worth noting, too, that Baker Wallis, the man behind the project, has quite an interesting...history, shall we say. The dude yelled profanities in church growing up, was the class clown every year in high school (including his sophomore year when he didn't attend), and decided to quit school when it became apparent it'd be easier to cheat online. Luckily, it seems he's found music as a home away from the madness, and, with this debut, we think he's on to something big.
