Two of our favorite artists here have (sort of) gotten together for a track, and we couldn't be happier about it. The two, Selah Sue and FKJ, have each wowed the heck out of us in the past with their various soulful, very smooth tracks, and now, we see the latter remixing the former through "Alone". "Alone", on its own, stands as funky, soulful pop effort, and now with FKJ putting his own spin on it, those elements are all amplified in magnificent ways. There's a neo-sounding flair cast on top of it that really does it well, and the shit now grooves as much as it pleases the soul. We're in love.
