Ever since she emerged with her breakthrough debut single, "Younger", Seinabo Sey has not failed to impress. The Swedish vocalist has consistently upheld her powerful, passionate style of pop with each song she's released, and today, all of her efforts are finally coming together in her very first album, Pretend. Although Pretend contains plenty of previously released songs, there certainly is a notable number of new ones that are just as excellent. Perhaps our favorite of the new cuts is "Who", an upbeat, synth-infused track that could very well be her next hit, but she also presents a softer side of her sound on piano and acoustic guitar-based ballad "Still". Seinabo's Pretend is definitely amongst the strongest overall albums (and vocal performances) that we've heard this year, so make sure you grab a copy of it for yourself on iTunes and/or stream it all on Spotify now.
