As the third-ever original release from Swedish singer Seinabo Sey, "Pistols At Dawn" introduces us again to her remarkable and incredible talent. Sey's last two tracks, "Hard Time" and "Younger", were bold and anthemic—the stuff of a potential star—and now adding to what's sure to be the start of that very big something is her latest track aforementioned. Electing for a woozy electronic look on the track, Seinabo sees a mid-tempo pace that allows us another side of her exceptional songwriting and magnificent cadence. She dips in and out of see-sawing, percussive-lit production, and, naturally it wouldn't be a Seinabo track without some vocal flexing, so stick around till the end, and hear her magnetizing, soul-ridden vocals champion atop the production. She's a star in the making—there's no doubt of that—and "Pistols At Dawn" is all the further proof you'll need. There's no word of a forthcoming EP or debut album yet from Sey, but, like all artists of her ilk, it's only a matter of time before one sprouts amid the potential she's bottled up. When the time does come, too, for her to cast off something into the world, you can no doubt expect her star to be born, so jump aboard the bandwagon now, and reap what anticipatory efforts she's surely in store.
