Seekae

Tais

Last year, Seekae captivated the music world with their breakthrough track, "Another", and although the Sydney trio had released two full-length albums prior to that, "Another" proved to be the moment that Seekae hit the map. It's amassed 750K plays on SoundCloud, and now, a year later, the collective has released their third full-length album, The Worry, on the famed Future Classic label. Spanning twelve captivating tracks, The Worry is what you'd call a niche listen for sure, but it's also one that's riveting sonically, and utterly fascinating, too, when the soothing and hypnotic lead vocals of Alex Cameron are accounted for. The production as well takes part in this somewhat-introspective, nature, expressing itself in melodramatic timbres that, alongside ricocheting percussion and woozy, psychotropic-infused synths, induce an otherworldly sonic experience. It's safe to say there's no one else in the world sounding like Seekae right now, so if you're looking for a record that removes you from your comfort zone but still has that engaging factor to it, look no further than The Worry, as it won't disappoint. You can check some of our highlights from the album below, and if you find that you want more material to listen to, head on over to iTunes to purchase the rest.
