We've watched ScHoolboy Q (and the rest of the TDE) rise from underground mixtape-status to making major label hits, and, though this ascension to stardom can cause styles to change for the worse, with his new, Kanye West-featuring single, "THat Part", here, he's proving to us that he's able to revert to the brilliantly dark, experimental sound that Habits and Contradictions wrought. The shadowy, brooding production here from Cardo and Sounwave is exactly what Q flourishes atop, and Kanye's verse only contributes positively to the track. We'll be honest and say that our excitement for ScHoolboy Q was starting to fizzle, but he's managed to fully revive it with this track. Purchase the track on iTunes now.
