Noah Breakfast has managed a very, very blissful sound with his remix of Say Lou Lou's "Everything We Touch" here, so listen up. The original was itself an extraordinary offering, bold and beautiful and poppy without being too much so, and it's no surprise to us that Mr. Breakfast's picked up and poked into the sound. His interpretation is calm and collected, respectful of the sisters' sound, but bright enough to have its own sonic signature, too. Light synths are littered about the effort, blanketing Lou Lou's vocal samples that appear throughout, sometimes organically, sometimes processed. They're tampered with with supreme intelligence, though (as we would expect from the producer), so there's no reason at all to worry. Noah's insisted on honoring the original with his remix here, and though he's opted for a more airy vibe than "Everything We Touch" originally expressed, there's enough of either acts' expression available to make for a truly tantalizing, chilled pop offering.
