We've another flawless, rich-sounding vocalist in New York-born, now Berlin-based Sara Hartman. We're hearing traces of a less-timid Sara Bareilles and a young Laura Welsh on her debut release, and that's not a bad comparison at all for the fresh-faced 19-year-old. "Monster Lead Me Home", her first track, is the product of immense faith after her move to Berlin just six months ago, where she trusted that her music-making would lead her in the right direction. It certainly seems here that it has, and her having landed supporting gigs for the lovely MS MR on a slew of upcoming shows in Germany helps evidence that that's the case. American residents will be able to catch the singer in early December for a few intimate gigs, but, for now, everyone else will just have to make do with her incredible debut track below.
