It’s important to leave a good first impression, and that's especially the case if you fancy yourself an aspiring musician. A good way to initially show yourself off is to start off with a solid debut, and Chicago-based act Sam Nicolosi is doing just that. His single, “Realign”, is a tropical-flavored pop banger that's got us hooked. Exotic production, hypnotizing chord progressions, and high-pitched vocal chops make for a refreshing base for the track, and with John Newman-esque vocal parts infused, the song is a combination of various unlikely elements that work very, very well. This piece portrays a delicate, explosive sound, and, needless to say, Sam has made a good first impression on us here.
