Apparently we've been sleeping on the Seattle-based rapper and producer, Sam Lachow, because according to his latest track, "Dreams of Gold", it would appear that there's talent we've unfortunately overlooked. Boasting smooth, bass guitar-laced production from Red Futon and Sam, himself, we find the consistenly great Raz Simone adding his signature baritone voice alongside Ariana Deboo, who provides the additional vocals on the chorus. As far as being a complete package goes, "Dreams of Gold" has it all: superb production, quality raps, subdued songwriting, and vocal bits from the legendary Bill Hicks. Waste no time scouting the effort for yourself, and look out for Sam's forthcoming album, Huckleberry, to drop August 1st.
