Ryn Weaver exploded onto the scene last month with her debut, "OctaHate". With it, she was being hailed as the next big thing, and was being pushed by some pretty big industry people (she's inked to Benny Blanco's label Friends Keep Secrets). However, as her music was rolled out, people were wondering where and how she seemingly came out of nowhere, but we're here to tell you that it doesn't matter what her situation was or is, because her second-ever offering, "Promises", is enough to silence anyone who's not about the music. On "Promises", we find Ryn's potential come to fruition as her self-proclaimed "fairy-pop" shines through in a unique light. Her sound is bold, engaging, and it's a pleasant listen, and where "OctaHate" was the hand wave to the world, "Promises" is now officially the hug, because people are definitely going to feel the love with this one.
