Ryn Weaver recently snagged the number one spot on our "Top 25 Debuts of 2014" list for her breakthrough song, "OctaHate", and yet, with all her fame, we actually haven't seen too many remixes emerge interpreting her work. However, we've a feeling that's all about to change, because now Ghost Loft and Twice As Nice have joined forces to produce one fantastic reworking of her smashing debut single. The original effort is an overwhelmingly euphoric power-punch of electro-pop, so it's rather refreshing to have a mellower remix here. A smooth, head-nod-inducing beat constitutes the base of the track, and the producers then implement some dreamy synths, jumpy percussion, and laid-back melodies to round it out. We're extremely happy with the direction that Ghost Loft and Twice As Nice have taken their rework here, and they've certainly set the bar high for the many "OctaHate" remixes that are sure to follow.
