Ryn Weaver is a new name to throw into the female pop-vocalist mix, but as far as brushing her off as another average artist, well, that's just not going to be in the cards. Her debut, "OctaHate", not only highlights her Beyonce-esque timbre, but a three-way production heavyweight combo from Michael Angelakos (Passion Pit), Benny Blanco, and Cashmere Cat uplifts the effort to lofty heights. Even without those names, though, Ryn Weaver holds her own, and naturally has us assuming her imminent rise will be following this triumphant debut shortly.
