Ryan Downie's (RYD) last feature on the site was with year-old "Simple Place To Be", and he seems to have taken the track down since, leaving only the one track prior to the release of his most recent single titled "Work It Out". The Londoner's style will remind you of Henry Green and maybe Golden Vessel's, and, on "Work It Out", we hear his croons beside atmospheric chords, scintillating plucks, and an overall absorbing vibe. While downtempo grows in appeal, RYD is sure to be near its peak.
