We didn't know who Rvdical the Kid was when we came across his bone-jarring remix of JFKrateZ's "Lord Bills", but we knew with his big sound that we'd be hearing again from him. Today, with his and MisterMack's "Ethereal", our intuition came correct, as he's stepped strongly again on the sonic spectrum with the Flow-Fi-released track. "Ethereal" starts with some wavy synths, and quickly turns into another burning banger, but what separates this effort from the aforementioned one is the suspenseful piano and percussion, as well as the stimulating chords MisterMack so elegantly injects into the track. They're mystical-sounding, unlike anything we've heard before, really, and they supplement Rvdical's snapping snares to perfection. We're not going to have to hope for more tracks from these two in the future, not when their sounds lend themselves so surely towards collaborative work, and since the pair has Flow-Fi tending to their artistic outpourings, we can expect a slew of musical medleys to come about from them and others on the roster.
