If “Side B (Dope Song)” wasn’t enough, Scottish producer Rustie and Detroit rapper Danny Brown have joined forces once again for “Attak”, the newest single from the former individual’s forthcoming album, Green Language. The pair has only met once in real life, and, apparently the second encounter wasn’t all that necessary, as the track was created over an extensive exchange of direct messages and e-mails, or so the rumors say. The track itself features a neurotic Danny going bonkers over Rustie’s chopped and synthed-out production, spitting references to liquor, and other obscenities we’ve come to expect from the artist. The chemistry is obvious on the track, though, and it goes without saying that it’ll be on repeat for the rest of the afternoon. Green Language will be out on August 26th via Warp.
