RÜFÜS's new album, Bloom, is quite possibly the best dance-pop album of the year thus far, and, as you all should know by now, with good music comes plenty of (sometimes) good remixes. What So Not and Mazde have both pulled their weight with their respective reworks of "Innerbloom" and "Say A Prayer For Me", and now, Louis Futon is stepping up to the plate with his rendition of "You Were Right". Futon eases us into the piece with some mellow, tropically tinged percussion, but directly after the first chorus, he unleashes an arsenal of intense, morphing synths. From then on, the track becomes a near-psychedelic listening experience that adds a fresh, enjoyable perspective on the original piece.
