RÜFÜS has already been a success in Australia and the UK (their debut has already been released in both countries), but now with the release Atlas finally having hit North America on August 25th, the Sydney-based trio are in prime position to spread their dance-infused pop sound to music lovers across the pond. They've still their home country first in mind, though, as evident with the release of Future Classic-inked producer Touch Sensitive's remix of their Atlas-featured track, "Sarah". Working with one of the mellower tracks on the album gave Michael Di Francesco (Touch Sensitive) some breathing room to flex his creative muscles, and that's exactly what he did here. But rather than simply speed up the tempo to change the original's feel, the Van She co-founder elected to work around the same slow-jam appeal, while also building on it by employing seductive synth melodies and sex-inducing, melodramatic pads. Although the beginning sets the mood properly, it isn't until the driving percussion settles in around the midway mark that the effort really takes off, as more intricate arrangements are sprinkled in while the track coasts towards its conclusion. This remix will feature alongside the new Atlas "Light/Dark Deluxe Edition" that will feature additional remixes from The Presets, Touch Sensitive, Classixx, Motez, Hayden James, and more.
