Ever since they debuted half a decade ago, RÜFÜS has proven their remarkable ability to create tracks that are simultaneously dance-worthy and relaxed. We enjoyed greatly their first album, Atlas, and, even still, we've had even higher expectations for their sophomore project ever since its outstanding first single, "You Were Right", surfaced about seven months ago. Now, the Sydney trio's new album, Bloom, is finally here, and it's just as excellent as we had hoped. Throughout the project, RÜFÜS stays consistent with their well-established style—one consisting of house-oriented percussion and punchy synths—but the way they vary the energy of each track is quite remarkable. Overall, Bloom could very well end up one of the best dance-pop albums to come out this year, so make sure you do not pass it up. Bloom is being released January 22 via ODESZA's Foreign Family Collective label, and if you enjoy our favorite tracks, make sure you purchase the album for yourself either through iTunes or, if vinyl is what you prefer, their web store as well.
