Earlier this year, the TV show Revenge featured a dark, string-heavy pop song that had such a presence that it sent its viewers scrambling to find out who was behind such a tune. The song in question, it turns out, was “Up In Flames” by Ruelle, a new collaborative music project from Nashville singer-songwriter Maggie Eckford and various producers. Maggie's now back with her second-ever track, "Big Guns", and as far as alluding towards things to come, this is very promising. Ruelle will be releasing her debut EP sometime in January (it will be full of songs she's serviced to TV shows [Revenge, Sleepy Hollow, Reckless, and DaVinci's Demons]), but if you don't want to wait for her EP, you can purchase "Big Guns" now by heading over to iTunes (the track is featured on the must-hear Nashville Indie Spotlight compilation, and we highly recommend that you check it out).
