Ordinarily, feature-packed albums lack cohesion that we'd typically associate with the kinds of bodies of work. If you have too many cooks in the kitchen, you'll end up with something that's completely disjointed. Rudimental, an instrumentalist four-piece that you'd assume would fit into the above sentiment, are the exception, and if you didn't find this out on their superb debut album two years ago, it's time that you with sophomore work We The Generation. As far as feature-packed goes, this new project is definitely that. Featuring a who's who of current and buzzing artists from the UK (MNEK, Ed Sheeran, Will Heard, Lianne La Havas, Sinead Harnett, Anne-Marie, Ella Eyre, and Bobby Womack are all on it), We The Generation is not only bang-on with its assisting acts, but the production accompanying each track, too, matches up. There's replay value here, and, as a music fan, that's all you can ask for. Below are our selected highlights from the album, but if you decide that you'd like to hear more, stream the rest of its tracks on Spotify and/or purchase it on iTunes.
