Although Roy Woods already has one project released under OVO Sound, you could say he's not quite hit his stride yet as far as standing on his own outside his Drake co-sign. However, with his just-released, very impressive second project, Waking At Dawn, the Torontonian is about to stand out on his own, for sure, because this is easily some of his best work yet. Standout tracks like "You Love It", "Down Girl", "Switch", and previously shared "Gwan Big Up Urself" and "How I Feel" all showcase Roy's flair for singing and rapping, but what will have his music standing out is how easily it is to replay it all. There's flawless production throughout, and, coupled with his voice, it's going to be very hard to put the project down.
