“Right Thing” is just Rosie Lowe’s second single release, but it’s the type of song that does a good job hiding the fact that its creator hasn’t been around for too long. The production quality is top notch, and Rosie’s voice has a dense quality to it that would fit right in on a lounge jazz record. This combination of technical mastery and dark vocal melodies work together to capture a certain type of audible majesty that really gives “Right Thing” a brooding sound which doesn’t shy away from the complexity that comes with the territory. If you’re at all into BANKS or GEMS, then Rosie Lowe will be another great addition to your repertoire of preferred artists.
