Surfacing just three months ago with "Alright" (thank you, Shura, for the tip), we were confident that Roseau would continue bleeding high-quality, electronic-infused pop and R&B as she continued releasing tracks. We see now with her mesmerizing debut album, Salt, that we were right. The adept producer and vocalist has been surrounded by sonic flavors all throughout her life, and that upbringing is radiant on the eleven-piece body of work. From Kerry Leatham's (Roseau) sentiment-flowing songwriting, to her mellifluous sonic foundations, there's really nothing to to nitpick within this project. Beside "Alright", new pieces that've perked our ears are "Accelerate" and the album-titled "Salt", as both are brimming with chord-led progressions and fluid drums to further complement the poignant deliveries she puts forth. Salt can be purchased on iTunes, and it also can streamed HERE. [via Clash]
