In a genre where it's easy to be brushed under the rug as just another clone, Brighton's Affelaye (and his incredible production) sticks out head and shoulders about the rest. We've come to know the individual on the back of his superb releases, "Hues" and "Want Me", and now today we find the talented producer building on his resume again with this "hazy Sunday morning" remix of Robokid's "Ur Touch". Like all Affelaye tracks before this one, the enveloping and melodic electronic that he employs is teeming with textures and overrun with lush and elegant sounds. We don't get that many Affelaye tracks (compared to the next producer), so listen to this and cherish it, because who knows when the elusive producer will strike next.
