Those of you have been following our website for some time will know that we have been championing Los Angeles-based duo RKCB from the start and have been impressed with each passing release. Last year saw one of their standout tracks, “Ignite”, get the remix treatment from another regular on site, Atlanta's Demo Taped, and it seems that the sumptuous sounds that resulted left their mark, as he has now collaborated with RKCB directly with collaborative single “Open Arms”. Upon first listen of the track, it immediately falls into the “no-brainer” category of collaborative work. The respective musical strengths of each artist complement each other perfectly as they meld their styles into the singular velvet groove of the track, and with how successful an output ass this is, we look forward to seeing what other opportunities their union yields ahead.
