Not every piece of music has to hit you immediately, sometimes the best stuff grows on you over the course of 3-5 listens. Whether it was because you weren't paying attention or were simply expecting something else, sometimes it just requires a few more listens to really break into your psyche. The outlandish and moody music from Pittsburgh's RIVKA, definitely needs to go through this forumla. Grant you not every one of their songs deserves a multitude of listens — but songs like "Drift" & "Gone" certainly do.
