Like an open book, Rita Satch's voice bares it all, and the deeply warm undertones that she uses to give her work a distinguished feel tell the story from the moment the first note leaves the speakers. In "Love You Like I Do", she channels her inner Amy Winehouse, and she'll blow you away with the proficiency with which she bends lyrics into a beautiful web of sound that floats above the jazz-inspired production work behind her. The track draws a lot of inspiration from some of the vintage sounds of bygone eras, but don't get too lost in the nostalgia of it all, because you'll miss out on some of the more innovative aspects of the song that are hiding just beneath the surface. To add icing to the cake, RHyno is at the helm for all things production, which is never a bad thing considering he's been responsible for some of your favorite songs from True Live, Kimbra, and Paris Wells. This single here has managed to fly under the radar in the past month, but if things go the way they should, it won't be long before the amazing voice of Rita's gets the recognition it deserves.
