Tandem artistic teams seem to be popping up left and right and on HD, and today, we have a pair of American female pop talents, Emily Greene and Madi Diaz (the latter having appeared on HD before with Magic Man and Gold Fields' remixes of her "The Other Side") whose single release has given us something truly exquisite to write about. The duo hasn't provided us with too deep a look behind the scenes of their collaboration here, but they have left us "Rabbit Hole", an awakening and ultimately intriguing debut that has us searching hard for more music from the two. "Rabbit Hole" has a number of appealing elements, from on-point vocals, to low-lying guitar strums, and all in unison allow the work to fly high above average in the indie-pop genre it's a part of. Green and Diaz have offered a few free shows in the LA and NYC areas (all advertised on their Twitter page), and they seem to be gaining quite a following, so definitely think about checking them out if you're in the area. Also, it seems that they've an upcoming EP, The Guest House, in the works, and since we're taking so well to their debut track here, we're anticipating what the bigger body of work will sound like.
