We first came across Riffie and his remarkable remixes a couple months ago when he released one of FLAMINGO's fantastic track, "Heart, My". The Melbourne-based producer specializes in his own unique house blend, which typically incorporates some refreshing percussion and glimmering synths, and although everything he's released thus far has been in the form of a sonic interpretation (a remix), today, we're finally hearing his very first official single, "With You", and, we've got to say, it definitely lives up to the standards that his remixes have set. If you're a house enthusiast, you'll definitely be a huge fan of this track, because it has all the qualities of a quintessential house offering: the pumping beat, some grooving synths, spot-on vocal chops, and plenty of varying segments. One of the most important elements of a good house track is constant variance within the offering—be it just a small tweak or a major difference—and Riffie keeps the song fresh throughout its entirety by continually switching up the song's feel. "With You" is being released through Medium Rare Recordings, an upcoming dance record label which is "partners in crime" with the powerhouse Stoney Roads record label. If the label has more artists of Riffie's caliber on board, too, we'll surely be seeing more of their acts on HD very soon.
