I hate always bringing up the ages of artists and producers in these posts, because I don't think that they matter at all when it comes to the art itself. What's the difference between an amazing sound created by a teen, and one crafted by an older individual? I imagine not much, and as much as I'd like to consider age a number and nothing more, I just can't when I come across the type of efforts illuminated on particular tracks. "WE R SLO MO" is one of said particular tracks, a collaborative endeavor between Polish producers RESTRICT FLΔVOUR and X O L F V N. And, of course, what makes it so special (aside from the banging ethereality inherent to the sound) is the relative inexperience of the creators. Aside from having a mere fifteen tracks between them, what's more impressive is the fact that the former of the two is fifteen years old. That's truly remarkable when you take the mature, synthy sound into account, and even more reason to look out for the future prospects of both of these up-and-coming producers.
