We can't offer much by way of a backstory for this new band. We can speculate that they are from the UK, though, as they played a support slot at Cafe 1001 in London back in October, but then again, we can't know for sure. What we do know is that this band makes damn fine indie jams. Possessing a sound that you could place somewhere between Woods and Unknown Mortal Orchestra on the alt-indie spectrum, Res has started turning heads with the recent release of four tracks on their SoundCloud page. The lo-fi vocals and the psychedelic guitars that ring through "She's A Witch" make it an obvious standout, but really, we could have picked any of the four tracks released to feature as they are all astonishing.
