As hip-hop proliferates across the globe, it infiltrates new cultures, and, in turn, non-American residents of said cultures take this idea of hip-hop and run with it, expanding the genre in new and exciting ways. One such student of the game is Rejjie Snow, a Dublin-based emcee who, in 2016, signed to 300 Entertainment (home of fellow innovators Young Thug, Migos, and Demo Taped). Today, Snow dropped a free mixtape called The Moon & You alongside an accompanying zine (view that HERE), and the mixtape is one that consists of what we presume are cuts from his upcoming album, though, we must admit they don't sound like cuts at all. Overall, the project is one flexing Rejjie's versatility as a songwriter by juxtaposing beautiful, auto-tuned vocal runs with aggressive drug raps, and, with contributions from Joey Bada$, Jesse Boykins III, Cam O'Bi, and Stefan Ponce, this will surely appeal to an American crowd and also push the culture forward with its creator's unique influences and point of view.
