Refs have been releasing a steady stream of electronic-soaked tracks for over a year now, and on new one "Roots", the act decides to slow things down just a little bit. Building off the success of "Bound to Lose", Refs make things sparse on "Roots", utilizing light synths, handclaps, and shaky percussion to assist their classic, smooth vocal tone. The change in pace makes for a moodier, more peaceful listen from them, but it doesn't skimp on quality by any means. Listen below, and expect more tunes soon.
