Real Slow is the latest electronic artist from Australia we've come across and grew affectionate towards, and his latest, second-ever track, "Sad Kids", while raw, represents a nice blend of chillwave, trap, and D&B—all with the attached elements you'd expect from the genres (ubiquitous synths, rattling hats, drum breaks, and the like). The transitions in "Sad Kids" are pretty clean and plentiful, too, with our favorite, the unforeseen D&B interjection in the middle, giving a taste of Dylan's (Real Slow) imaginative sonic sense. It's not a mind-blowing insertion, mind you, but it indicates a kind of budding creativity that may lend itself for future dynamic works down the road. Now, let's hope some appear.
