London-based singer-songwriter Ray Blk is a relatively new artist with a set of pipes that will stop you dead in your tracks. After releasing a Charles Dickens-inspired EP titled Havisham, the self-described songbird and free spirit is back with a gem of an R&B jam in "Talk To Me". "Talk To Me" finds Ray singing over a smooth Tom Misch instrumental, and the pairing of Tom's mellowed, jazz-tinged beats with Ray's fresh, fluent vocals is a match made in musical heaven. Ray's got the vocal style of seasoned R&B crooner and the kind of effortless flow that's sure to drop the jaws of many music industry heads. and, truthfully, "Talk To Me" is the sort of track that can really start her career in a big way.
